Kevin Xu has been actively involved in assisting David and Wendy with their assisted living facilities since his high school years and throughout college. After graduating from UMBC, he earned his medical degree from Jinan University. Building on his parents’ legacy, Kevin chose to further develop the family’s assisted living enterprise and has successfully established its first location in Howard County.

Nearly 30 years ago, David and Wendy Xu began their assisted living venture with a modest 6-unit home. Their dedication and passion for quality care soon led to the expansion of a second property, converted into a 15-unit assisted Living residence, followed by a third 16-unit facility. Today, alongside their son Kevin, they have established Columbia Meadows Assisted Living, a 90-unit community that represents the culmination of their lifelong commitment to compassionate senior care.

Pasadena Home Care (The 15-unit assisted living) and Morning Rainbow Assisted Living (The 16-unit assisted living) is still operational today.
